The art sessions would create unique artwork, using throughout the medium of English for the workshop. Drawing in pencils, pens and pastels, watercolours and acrylics, along with other possible media, would be used to work towards completing a piece of work in a time frame of choice for the client, from 1-3 hours or more if preferred. A discussion of the the art genre, for example, still life or portraits, would precede the workshop, and throughout the sessions all of the students would be engaged in participatory talks, led by the artist. A very rich cultural experience would thus be available for participants, along with a piece of artwork created by themselves.
A poetry workshop would run along similar lines, but for this workshop a selection of famous English poems would be selected and explored for the first part of the session, followed by a workshop where the students would create their own poem in English.. There would be scope for individual poems and collective group poetry work, all of which would be collated at the end of the session and shared among participants. Again, a rich cultural exchange would be taking place with a unique set of poetry created at the end.
